118 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul-Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 12 joint offensive & clearance operations, and conducted 84 Commandos, Special Forces operations in different parts of the country, in order to remove security threats, destroying the enemy’s sanctuaries and ensure better security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 92 flights and carried out 14 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 118 Insurgents including 4 ISIS were killed, 43 were wounded and 1 suspect was detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in, Kunduz, Logar, Nengarhar, Miadon Wardak, Farah, Balkh, Ghazni, Ghor, Helmand, Faryab, Sar-e- Pol, Herat, Zabul, and Kandahar provinces.

Kunduz- 43 insurgents were killed, 21 were wounded, 3 fighting positions and 2 hideout were destroyed in artillery attacks, airstrikes & clearing operations in Khan Abad, Qala-I Zal and Imam Sahib districts.

Logar- 21 insurgents were killed & 2 Vehicles were destroyed in joint clearing operations & airstrikes in Charkh District.

Nengarhar- 12 insurgents including 4 ISIS were killed, 1 suspects was detained, 4 depots of weapons and ammunition and 1 motorbike packed with explosives were destroyed in clearing operations & airstrikes in Shirzad & Pachiragam districts.

Wardak- 12 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle was destroyed and amount of weapon & ammunition were seized in airstrikes & clearing operations in Jalrez and Jaghatu districts.

Farah- 10 insurgents were killed and 7 were wounded in clearing operations in. vicinities of capital

Balkh- 9 insurgents were killed and 8 were wounded in airstrikes in Chahar Bolak districts.

Ghazni- 6 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in airstrikes & response attacks in Dehyak district & Shahbaz area, outskirts of capital

Ghor- 5 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in vicinities of capital.
