31 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 10 joint clearance operations and conducted 78 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 44 flights and carried out 22 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 31 Insurgents were killed, 17 were wounded and 3 suspects were detained.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in Baghalan, Zabul, Badghis, Helmand, Ghor, Kandahar, Wardak, Ghazni, Kapisa, Herat and Nimruz provinces.

In these operations, 15 insurgents were killed, 16 were wounded and Jaht Ghorbandi, Noor Mohammadi, Haji Ghafar, Jar Qaeshlak Pahyeen, Bashir Bala, Bashir Pahyeen, Arbab Jomah, Qaychi Bala, Chah e Cha, Salangi Ha, Mullah Fatae, Lakan Khel, Ropania, Haji Shaheen, Darulalom, Takheta Pol-Arbab Qayyum and Kohistan villages were cleared form enemies in Hassan Tala area of Baghalan e Markazi district of Baghalan province. 5 insurgents including Abdullah a Taliban local commander were killed and another was wounded in Bala Murghab district of Badghis province. 5 insurgents were killed and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in Mizan, Shinkay, Tarang and Jaldak districts of Zabul province. 4 insurgents were killed in Dawlat Yar district of Ghor province.

Similarly, 2 insurgents were killed a motorbike was destroyed in Saydan area in Grishk district of Helmand province. An IED facility was destroyed in Maiwand district of Kandahar province. 3 suspects were detained, 48 mobile, 5 memory card, 7 passport, a photography camera, 11 sim cards and some documents were seized in Zarkhel village of Wardak province.
