22 Insurgents Were Killed in Different Parts of the Country  

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 9 joint clearance operations and conducted 79 Special Forces operations in different parts of the country. In order to remove security threats and ensure security to the people of Afghanistan, Afghan Air Forces conducted 154 flights and carried out 12 airstrikes on enemies’ positions in support of these operations. As a result, 22 Insurgents were killed and another was wounded.

These operations were conducted with support of Resolute Support and Afghan Air Forces in Ghazni, Paktia, Helmand, Kandahar, Herat, Kunduz, Kapisa, Balkh and Samangan provinces.

In these operations, 13 insurgents were killed, 1 was wounded, 2 vehicles, 3 weapons and a fighting position were destroyed in Sangin, Nawzad and Garmsir districts of Helmand province. 5 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle and a heavy weaponry were destroyed in Jani Khel district of Paktia province. 4 insurgents were killed in Andar district of Ghazni province.
