68 Insurgents Were Killed!   

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 17 joint offensive & pre-planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 21 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 15 provinces of the country, as a result, 68 Insurgents were killed, 20 were wounded and 25 were detained.

Ghor- 42 insurgents were killed, 8 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in Commando Forces clearing operation with support of Air Forces in Dawlat Yar district.

Uruzgan- 10 insurgents were killed, 12 were arrested, 300 kg explosives, 12 tunnels, 1 vehicle, 2 motorbikes and large number of weapons & munitions were destroyed and 28 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in Joint Special Operation with support of Air Forces in Shahid Hassas district and province capital.

Laghman- 5 insurgents were killed and 8 were wounded in artillery & response attacks in Alishing district.

Ghazni- 5 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded, 1 vehicle and 1 motorbike were destroyed in response attacks & airstrikes in Muqur, Gelan districts and province capital.

Farah- 3 insurgents were killed, 7 were detained and amount of IEDs making materials were confiscated in ANA clearing operation in Gurji ha, Murvarid, Regaee & Dehyak villages of the province capital.

Paktia- 2 insurgents belong to Haqqani network were killed and another was wounded in an airstrike in Durrani village, Sayed Karam district.

Helmand- one insurgent was killed in an airstrike in Washir district.

Herat- 6 insurgents were arrested and 3 mobile phone were seized in Joint Special Operation with support of Air Forces in Ghoryain district.
