72 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 22 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 21 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 14 provinces of the country, as a result, 72 Insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded.

Kandahar- 12 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Maiwand district.

Logar- 12 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in province capital.

Uruzgan- 10 insurgents were killed, 3 hideouts, 1 fighting position and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in province capital.

Ghazni- 8 insurgents were killed, 5 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in clearing operation in Qarabagh, Giro, Jaghato districts and province capital.

Wardak- 8 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Sayed Abad district.

Badghis- 5 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Jawand district.

Kunduz- 4 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in airstrikes & clearing operation in Char Dara district.

Zabul- 3 insurgents were killed, 1 vehicle, 4 motorbikes and amount of weapons & ammunition were seized in clearing operation in Shah Joy district.

Faryab- 3 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Qaramqol district.

Jowzjan- 3 insurgents were killed in airstrikes in Darzab district.

Kapisa- 3 insurgents were killed in response attack in Nijrab district.

Helmand- one insurgent was killed, 2 were wounded and 4 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation in Nahar Saraj district.
