133 Insurgents Were Killed!
Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 15 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations, conducted 90 Commandos special operations and Air Forces carried out 29 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, These operations were conducted in 12 provinces of the country, As a result, 133 Insurgents were killed and 87 were wounded.
Takhar- 33 insurgents were killed, 2 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in an airstrike in Darqad & Khwaja Bahauddin districts.
Uruzgan- 31 insurgents were killed, 12 were wounded, 115 kg explosives and 5 rounds of IEDs were discovered & destroyed in airstrikes & clearing operation in Deh Rahwod district and province capital.
Kunduz- 24 insurgents were killed, 20 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes in Imam Sahib, Char Dara and Khan Abad districts.
Paktia- 15 insurgents were killed and 8 were wounded in airstrikes in Jaji Aryoub district.
Nangarhar- 12 insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded and some weapons & ammunition were destroyed in an airstrike in Surkh Rod district.
Ghazni- 8 insurgents were killed, 8 were wounded and 1 vehicle was destroyed in airstrikes & clearing operation in Andar, Dehyak and Qarabagh districts.
Farah- 6 insurgents were killed, 3 were wounded and 1 fighting position was destroyed in an airstrike in Qala-I-Qaha district.
Baghalan- 4 insurgents were killed and 20 were wounded in an airstrike and response attack in Baghalan Markazi district.
Wardak- 3 insurgents were killed and 4 were wounded in joint special clearing operation in Nirkh district.
Kandahar- 2 insurgents were killed and 2 fighting positions were destroyed in an airstrike in Maiwand district.
Paktikah- 2 insurgents were killed in response attack in capital.
