91 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces launched 20 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 11 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 13 provinces of the country, as a result, 91 Insurgents were killed and 41 were wounded.

Helmand- 36 insurgents were killed, 9 were wounded, 47 military uniforms, amount of weapons & ammunition were seized, 1 vehicle, 9 motorbikes, 1 depot of munitions, 5 hideouts, 28 fighting positions were destroyed and 129 rounds of different IEDs were discovered & defused in clearing operation, Commando Special Operation and rocket attacks in Nad Ali, Sangin, Nahar Saraj districts & vicinities of Lashkargah city.

Sir-e Pol- 22 insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Sayyad district. 

Baghalan- 19 insurgents were killed, 12 were wounded, 1 hideout, 4 fighting positions and amount of weapons & ammunition were destroyed in airstrikes in Dahana Ghori and Baghalan-e Markazi districts.

Ghazni- 6 insurgents were killed and 10 were wounded in response attacks in Andar & Khwaja Omari districts.

Jowzjan- 5 insurgents were killed, 7 were wounded and 28 round of mines were discovered & defused in Commando Special Operation in Darzab district.

Balkh- 2 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in Chamtal district.

Kapisa- one insurgent was killed and another was wounded in response attacks in Tagab district.
