54 Insurgents Were Killed!

Kabul, Afghanistan: in the past 24 hours, Afghan National Defense and Security Forces, launched 14 joint offensive & pre planned clearance operations and Air Forces carried out 8 airstrikes on enemies’ positions, in order to remove security threats, eliminate the enemy’s strongholds and ensure better security, these operations were conducted in 11 provinces of the country, as a result, 54 Insurgents were killed and 21 were wounded.

Kandahar- 18 insurgents were killed and amount of weapons & ammunition was destroyed in airstrikes in Arghandab and Shorabak districts.

Helmand- 10 insurgents were killed, 1 wounded and 2 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes & clearing operation in Nahar Saraj & Nad Ali districts.

Nangarhar- 8 ISIS insurgents were killed and 2 hideouts were destroyed in airstrikes in Khogyani district.

Paktia- 7 insurgents were killed and 3 motorbikes were destroyed in airstrikes in Zarmat district.

Zabul- 5 insurgents were killed and 8 were wounded in clearing operation in Shah Joy & Mizan districts.

Uruzgan- 4 insurgents were killed, 8 were wounded, 20 rounds of IEDs were discovered & defused and 2 kg drugs were destroyed in clearing operation & response attack in Guizab district and Chinea village, province capital. 

Kapisa- 2 insurgents were killed and 3 were wounded in response attacks in Nijrab Balkh district.
