Asadullah Khalid met with Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia

Earlier today Asadullah Khalid, Acting Minister of Defense, met with Mr. Damir Krstičević - Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia at the Ministry of Defense - Kabul.

Acting Minister of Defense expressed appreciation for the assistance of friendly nation Croatia and added that ANDSF has recaptured 9 districts from the enemies of Afghanistan and facilitated the path to establishing good governance in those areas.

He added that during the presidential elections ANDSF proved that they can protect the Afghan nation against all terrorist groups and their activities.

Mr. Khalid mentioned that the Afghan Government’s efforts towards peace continue and the Government has kept all channels for peace negotiations open.

Mr. Damir Krstičević - Minister of Defence and Deputy Prime Minister of Croatia praised the efforts of the Afghan Government and Afghan Army and provided reassurance of increased assistance to the Afghan Army.
